In this chilling prequel to 'the Messengers', farmer John, Rollins places a mysterious scarecrow in his struggling fields, and discovers that its appearance is both a blessing and a deadly curse.

The story is surprisingly good for a B-class flick, and the acting is decent as well. There is enough blood to satisfy those looking for it, and enough twists to make you nod in approval.
