Please assist me set up an outdoor wireless speaker
Greetings, I don't know if I am in the suitable forum thread however I am trying to find a number of recommendations to help me solve an issue with some home speakers? I am employing a 5.8 GHz cordless speaker set to operate my rear speakers. The transmitter is connected to my AV receiver. The challenge occurs when the AV receiver is in standby. It will send out a slight hum. This tends to stop the cordless transmitter from going into stand by. Commonly the transmitter would begin stand by if there is no music delivered to the transmitter inputs. The main problem is that my speakers will keep sending out exactly the same kind of humming noise while the AV receiver is in standby. Curiously there is no hum originating from my receiver when it is on. I would not imagine that it's a ground loop issue. I have been contemplating ways to solve this problem. One thought I had would be to set up a switch in order to cut the audio towards the transmitter or power down the transmitter (cut DC power) whilst my AV receiver is in stand by. However, I don't understand how to couple this switch with my AV receiver. Does any person have any good ideas?
