Problem with a wireless speaker system
Good day, I don't know if I'm in the appropriate forum thread but I am trying to find a few tips in order to assist me to deal with a problem with some home theater speakers? Avoiding loudspeaker cable clutter, I have acquired a 5.8 GHz wireless loudspeaker kit for my surround loudspeakers. The transmitter connects to the surround receiver rear loudspeaker outputs. Usually the transmitter goes into stand by after a couple of minutes of not having received audio. However, my AV receiver keeps emitting a hum whilst in stand by. This stops the cordless transmitter from commencing standby. The challenge thuswise is the fact that my wireless amps will also stay on all the time. That will squander some energy. But most importantly my speakers will keep emitting the same hum which my AV receiver sends out to the transmitter. I'm not sure whether there are any good solutions for this kind of predicament. Perhaps I'm going to need to actually disconnect the receiver from power every time. Thank you for giving tips.
