Time-Life gathered this collection of "Victory Discs", special 78rpm records made exclusively for the American military during World War II. For years civilians did not know that these records were in existence. They have since been compiled in various ways, but this was one of the first big productions where people got to hear this, featuring top stars of the day and well known musicians who were also serving duty.
